Zero

Haven’t had much motivation to post this week.

Zero, in fact. So while this photo is like so much filler, it’s better than nothing.

…thus ends the inspired blogging of the day. ;-)

When I run out of ideas/motivation I just tend to take my camera for a walk. Taking a new path I always something new that I want to try out photographing.

So how did you decide on this one?

  3. TJ McDowell says:

How do you usually decide on what to post? I have a list of ideas, then I look at all my ideas and see which one interests me most just before I start writing.

I think for me it’s more about the image than the words, so in part, it depends on how much I’ve shot recently that is worthy of sharing. I have a small queue of images I think worth sharing, and I dole ‘em out over time. When the queue of images gets longer, I post more frequently. When that folder has just a few images… well… that’s when I don’t post every day. ;-)

A friend of mine blogs over at Capturing Contentment, and she said something about how it seems I’m looking for a great shot before I post. She shoots every day, and I think she’s a better photographer because of it. I could learn from her… but my strive to take shots I’m pleased with and only share those images is indicative of my personality, so I’ll probably stick with it.

  4. I’ll totally agree with you that it’s better than nothing….. Well this pic inspired me the most.

Updating your blog from time to time can be very difficult if you don’t have any idea about any topic. Creativity really works on that case. LOL

Lol. I have weeks like that so I know what you mean. Your friend is right, if you discipline yourself to shoot/write/whatever even when you don’t feel like it , it does get easier.

  11. I love the picture. You might have felt like doing zilch, but the picture is very artistic.
