I like that little fella! Ya got yourself a nice picture there. I must say though that if him not being centered reduced the impression a tiny bit for me. Never the less though, a very nice picture.
Heh – my wife likely agrees with you. She likes things centered and balanced, and I like them carefully off-center.
Here’s an interesting discussion on the topic.
I adore your photography skills. From my experience, It’s often difficult to take photos of small objects especially if you want the fine details to show up. May I know which company set of macro lenses are you using?
This isn’t a macro lens shot – it’s one of Nikon’s cheapest lenses, in fact, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. It retails for $399, but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for that glass. I’d rather save my cash for a better lens.
Great photo and great subject for a photo – doesn’t move too fast, great graphic stripes, can be set down on a plain surface – perfect.

lol, this turtle seems me wearing a uniform.
Nice sharing.
Love the shot of the turtle. You don’t need a worry about this subject moving to fast for the camera. Perfect Halloween Picture!
This turle (that looks like a frog to me) seems like it’s talking to you… lol! cute little fella!

Yep, you know, I also think it’s a frog, a real frog at the first sight! So amazing. Its colors are wonderful. I love the combination between yellow and green. Great!
