Stump Jumpin’

A long time ago, I hosted a guest post that explained how to create panoramas in Photoshop. More recently, on a trip to New York City, I saw this guy jumping from lamp to lamp. There were probably 70 or so wrapping around the building, and he made it all the way from one end to the other. I didn’t have my camera ready when he started, so I missed most of it, but I did manage to get a few at the end of his little escapade. Rather than give them to you individually, I used Photoshop’s automerge feature to combine a couple of them. So no… not twins, just two images blended together. Enjoy!

  1. Nice shot! reminds me of the new Nokia phone feature where “Nokia Pro Cam” where it will take multi shots of and you can see the full action going on. Looks like to same effect but easier. You can also choose which frame you prefer or to combine them. Very easy and intuitive to use.

  2. I really thought that they were twins :)

  3. Hilarious. Looks really fun.

Very nicely done, I did believe they could be twins when first looking at the photo. It only goes to prove that the old saying “The camera never lies” is now a thing of the past.
