Salt and Pepper

Peppercorns and sea salt crystals, just waiting to be ground onto some fresh food.

  1. They look like little Valentine’s Day chocolates…

  2. This is a really cool picture! What provoked you to take a picture of it?

  3. Very nice shot here – who’d have known that salt and pepper would be quite so photogenic?

  4. This picture would be even prettier with some Himalayan pink salt. I get mine from Sustainable Sourcing https://secure.sustainablesourcing.com. The flavor is so much better than regular salt! Thanks for sharing!!

  5. Looks interesting like a view in an invisible world. I think it´s a great idea and image build up, perhaps a little more brighter it´s perfect.

  6. Yummy. I hadn’t tried grinding my own sea salt and cracked pepper until a few years ago but now I’d never go back – the store bought stuff is just NOT the same!!

  7. You have brought them so close no one can actually know what they are.

  8. I love seeing our world through a bug’s eye view. Everything becomes such a big deal. Thank you for helping me see it from that perspective.

  9. I wouldn’t have even known what those were unless I read the caption! I don’t know what that looks like, but it’s neat. Have you done any close-ups of sand? That could be neat, like a seashell on sand, seeing the individual grains and the shell could be cool.
