Pumpkins Bounce

What’s more fun than carving nine jack-o-lanterns with power tools? Throwing them out the window after Halloween!

I already shared these images on Flickr and Facebook, but we had so much fun defenestrating our pumpkins this year, I couldn’t resist a quick post here on the blog. When I look at these pictures, it really makes me want to build a catapult before next October.

Haha! Now that looks funny :D Also nice that you manage to get a photo just as it collapses.

This reminds me of some of the old David Letterman skits where he’d drop something like a watermelon off the top of the building and then photograph it. Well done.

Sweet! What settings did you have your camera set on? Was it the speedlight that stopped the motion in the 2nd pic?

Smashing pumpkins is truly cool and fun thing to do. It is good for releasing negative emotions and anger. Can I have one? :) hahaha! Well done James!

  10. I would not have been able to have done this. My son would have been very upset. He is only 4, and he gave our Jack o Lanterns personalities.
