Perfection is a game where you try to get all the pieces into the board before the tray springs up. The timer can be up to one minute, and if you don’t hurry, you don’t finish.
From a photographer’s point of view, this game’s appeal is in trying to snap the photo when all the pieces are in the air. I’ve done this before, but like today’s results better.
I love the colours in this (and your recent pictures) and after taking a look at the previous shot you linked to, I hope you won’t take it the wrong way when I say how your work has progressed in quite a short time. Are you using anything to saturate the colours? Because if you are, I must have it : )

Looks like you used a pretty heavy strobe on this one to get the black in the background. I actually kind of like it after I looked at it – the black background acts almost like bokeh to draw your attention to the main subject matter.
I definitely like the angle and background of this photo as opposed to the previous one. The way the pieces kick up more gives it a little more aesthetic appeal to me. Although, Perfection is one of the most frustrating games other then operation.
I just love the artistic ability you have. Not many people can make such simple photographs of practically anything look so aesthetically pleasing. It’s a real gift.
Shooting this must be like shooting a waterdrop. You need to click at the right moment to capture the most dramatic moment. Cool.
