New England Spring

It’s a long winter.

That’s what we tell each other when it’s cold and we can’t wait for the snow to melt, which it started doing a couple of weeks ago. Then, this week, right after the start of spring, we got snow again. I didn’t think it was that much, and couldn’t understand why my town plowed the streets for that little accumulation, but some members of my family could be heard miles around as they cried, “NOOOOoooooooooo!” to the skies.

It pretty much all melted by two days later.

  2. That’s the great thing about photography. It freezes moments, even though the snow was all melted two days later the white pure snow cold sensation remains forever.

Great words about photography – it freezes moments. You can’t leave snow on the fground or on trees but in your photos it will stay forever – cool image. I like it!

The Groundhog lied to us; that’s for sure. It’s still raining, snowing and cold all over the country. And last year at this time I had a sunburn. When do you think it will actually show up? I hope soon!

Is that a black & white shot, or do I see a little green showing through from the trees? It’s very nicely framed on that curvy lattice thing.

  5. Nice shot. I really wanna feel some snow. Haven’t seen one yet

I visited England last year and it’s beautiful. Granted I was only in London and saw the busy streets, but it was nice and sunny :) Nice photo-was this part of a bridge or what did you capture?

I’m not much of a snow girl, so I can relate to the residents screaming in agony. However, I love looking at snow because it makes everything look so calm and peaceful. Nice picture.
