Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day!

For this Labor Day, I’m unemployed… I’m in that brief period between jobs when you leave one company to accept another position. I haven’t done it that often, but in the past I’ve threatened to take some time off to unwind between positions.

I never do. I’m always itching to get back to work.

But today I’ll try to take it easy – it’s Labor Day in the US, after all, and I’m supposed to take a break.

I love this shot… and quite frankly, a bunch of the shots I got from this piece of equipment, which was for sale along the side of the road. The bulldozer didn’t stay out there very long – either someone really needed it, it was priced really well, or both.

I probably missed it in a previous post, but what jobs are you changing between? Same occupation just different company?

Same industry – insurance – but I’m going from helping insurance companies with their auto glass claims (previous position) to helping just one company with its efforts in customer service. I’m the new Customer Experience Manager for Electric Insurance Company. :D
