I took this photo for the December photo scavenger hunt. The clue was “Easy.” I wasn’t that excited about this shot, it was a quick throw-away taken with the iPhone. Still… it’s somewhat iconic, and it did get picked up by ombwatch.org. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw it on another site in the future.

Photo journal post number one!
I decided to go for it. I joined Project 365 on Flickr – mostly as a way of checking in with some other people on how things are going for them, and to be inspired by some of the fantastic photography I see there.
My self imposed rules:
1) Take the photo on the calendar day in question
2) Post when I have time to post
That means I will date my posts to the day the photo took place, even if I don’t post it until a few days have passed. I have a pretty high-demand job that deserves all the attention I can give it, so sometimes the photo will post after the fact. It will always be posted with the post-date that the photo was taken.
My first shot is a self portrait of me and my parents at the Red Arrow Diner in Manchester.
