The point is, people requesting link removals usually hired unscrupulous SEO vendors link spammers who in turn flooded my site with spam. Some of them used bots to do their dirty work, some outsourced it to barely literate workers who would get paid a penny a post. So now I’m asking you to pay it forward. Get back some of the Karma you or your company wasted by tainting my site while trying to cheat your way to the top of the search engines.

Last, I recognize that the people requesting link removal usually weren’t the same nefarious characters who created them. I am sorry you are having to go through this. Combing the web for backlinks, trying to figure out which ones are hurting your results, then begging people to take time out of their busy days to help you. It sounds thankless. I know I’m tired of hearing from you, and of late had been ignoring you… but I’m a pretty good guy deep down, and this was the only way I could think of that I could help you achieve your goals, and not resent you for having to take time out of my busy day to do it.
