New Mexico Road

I have posted other photos from New Mexico, as I have family there and find my way there more than anywhere else I travel. This was from a trip to the Land of Enchantment in March, and I went for a six mile run outside of Taos. As you can see, I pretty much had the road to myself.

The best camera in the world is the one you have with you, and this day was no exception. My Nikon was back at the lodge, and my iPhone was with me. I’m glad I had it, as I really like this shot.

  1. David Bennett says:

    Iconic USA photo

Big country – the open road – all things possible – self-reliance – good weather.

    What more can anyone want…

  2. Love the open road. Being a New Yorker you don’t see that kind of road very often. Was out in eastern Nevada over the summer where no traffic was the norm. Sharing here: https://lightscrapes.com/earth-dreams/elko-county-nevada-desert-road/ , dunno if this is allowed but your vision was similar to mine. Hope you like it.
