Pipes

Pipes

We’ve seen this photo before, but something always draws me in to photos through enclosed spaces, so I took a couple quick shots when I walked by some large drainage pipes being used for a project in my town.

  1. I love this one too! Really great pictures!

  2. This is gorgeous. The view at the end almost looks like a moon at night!

  3. nice photo i like it… 🙂

  4. Amazing that something like a drainage pipe (definitely not my first thought for a beautiful image) could turn out to be such a pretty photo. Great shot 🙂

  5. I think everyone here likes this image more than I do. 😉

  6. You’re being too modest! I think this is an awesome shot! It’s a unique frame and the sunlight combined with the shadows from the pole(?) and the patch of vibrant green really come together to make an interesting view.

  7. The light comes in very cool. And the string of light in the “back” of the pictures gives it more deep. Really nice photo!

  8. Dr. George Suarez says:

Was this taken at daytime? I’m wondering where the lighting was coming from. This is brilliant, James.

  9. Wish my “quick shots” looked more like this… Love the angle and how many different levels are visible here. SO cool!

  10. Oh wow – this looks like there’s a whole forest growing in there! I know it’s probably just overgrown grass or reeds, but your photo really brings a different light to it.

  11. Really fascinating picture. I love the ring pattern and the light and dark contrast. Really enticing photo you have here.

  12. I love shots like this too. I really like how the pipes cast shadows, it makes the sunlight on the grass seem so much brighter and more significant.
