Spike

spike

Photo of a tent spike. The part sticking out of the ground was two feet long and the diameter of a quarter. I bet it weighs a LOT!

  1. That’s one sturdy spike. Tent must be huge. A circus tent maybe?

Been away for some time James. I noticed the new look you got around here. Like it. :)

    • Thanks, James! It’s not quite done yet, but I’m getting close.

The tent seated about 250 people… not quite circus tent size, but close enough. :)

  2. It certainly looks like it’s had a hammering (excuse the pun), I can just make out where the spike has been just missed and the top has been chipped, lovely shot ;)

    • Hi, Karen! This post has its share of long time conversationalists. Can’t believe BM is about to turn three! Wait… how long have I been doing this? Yikes!

  3. Wow. Sounds like a big tent if it needed that type of stake! I really like the colors in this photo. Great job.

  4. I like the grass color… So fresh.

  7. Pretty big spike you got there, must’ve been holding a big tent. This picture reminds me of the old days, boy scout campings. Fun times! :)

  8. so much stress on one little point. I would want to name this one “point of hope.”
