Sculptures at the Louvre

At the Louvre

If you’re ever in Paris, it would be a shame if you didn’t carve out a day or two to visit the Musee Du┬áLouvre. It’s been a while since I’ve been there, but the next time I find myself in the city of lights, I will definitely be going back.

I was lucky to get this shot of one of the sculpture halls with no one in the photo.

  1. That is a great shot! How I’ve always wanted to go to Paris and see Mona Lisa and climb up the Eiffel Tower. You guys are so lucky, you’re even contemplating on going back a 2nd or 3rd time while I haven’t even set foot in that majesitc city of Paris. I guess I’ll have to be contented with videos and pictures for now. Lol! ^_^

  2. Oh my! Amazing photo. Lucky you no one was there. There’s “something” in the sculptures that really amaze me.

  3. There really is lot of history and culture on display at the louvre. I would recommend it if you are into history and different cultures. You won’t see sculptures like this in too many places in the world today.

  4. I’m moroccan and have lots of relatives living in Paris. Will make sure to visit this place the next time I’m over there :)

  5. I really love this shot! I have a deep fractionation with sculptures!

  6. I have been to Paris and never went into the Louvre… I am so disappointed in myself for it.

  7. I have been in Louvre once and that was about more than 10 years ago. I surely missed those sculptures, they are really beautiful, but we saw Mona Lisa and other famous paintings though.
