Garden gnome

This one’s a guest photo from Sophie. Thanks for sharing your photo!

  1. Wow, great pic, Soph!! You better watch out James, you could be replaced with a wink and a nod……

  2. Awesome sophie. I just love this random composition. James thanks for appreciating others work and publishing them it here. I am sure all photography enthusiasts will be entertained 🙂 (I wish to send some of my pics as well :P)

  3. I have to say, he’s pretty cute! Is he sticking his tongue out? I usually don’t like gnomes because I find them really frightening – almost like those old fashioned dolls with the curly hair. But this one looks really happy lol, well done sophie

  4. Stacie, yes he is! Cute, huh?

Melvin, I sent you an email a couple months back. If you’re interested in being featured here, let me know.

  5. That’s one real cute gnome.. love it.

  6. The gnome population has already reached 25 million in german and even spreading into overseas markets in some Asian countries. Can’t see what the attraction is myself, but at least they don’t need to be fed like pets!

  7. Just a fact, Gnome was first introduced by Paracelsus and later adopted by more recent authors, including those of modern fantasy literature. Anyway, it was indeed a very nice shot! I congratulate you for a job well done. The focal point was visibly clear and the mixed of colors were just fine.

  8. haha, i always loved Garden gnomes, don’t know why, i think because they look so cute sometimes. I mean most of the times and they look good in the garden too. I see that you enjoy them too.

  9. The smile of this stuff is contagious.

  10. I have to say, he’s pretty cute! Is he sticking his tongue out?

  11. If kids will find this in my garden, it’ll surely gone in a few seconds. This is really cute thing. You can have “Snow white and the seven dwarfs” theme in your garden.

  12. How big is he? It looks like a tiny, tiny, baby gnome. But it’s a really cute shot- especially for a typically ugly creature.

  13. Very nice picture, Sophie. That gnome has definitely got it going on: the size, paint, and shape are just the right elements. I’ve seen many gnomes throughout my life and it’s great to see how people buy/make gnomes to match them (their owners). Let us know if you have any other pictures, we would love to see them.

  14. This picture shown is amazing.I never thought photography would be this beautiful. Photography is a work of art not everyone can learn this kind work.Though it can be learned but studying this would be a hard thing to do.

This kind of work requires a talent that in one look of a person the thing she/he did will surely be appreciated.Taking unique shots is easy to watch but for sure a very hard thing to do if you don’t have any idea what you’re doing.

  15. Hi Sophie! You made a good picture. That gnome offers undoubtedly got it going on: the size, paint, as well as form tend to be the perfect factors. I’ve noticed several gnomes through my entire life and also it’s fantastic to see exactly how individuals buy/make gnomes to complement them.
